Triplet C 6" x 8" brown / black frame The Sunset Moth often regarded as the most spectacular and distinctive of all moths. Its colours made it popular with the Victorians, who used its wings to make jewellery. The hindwings have numerous short and slender tails. The Peacock Moth is also a "Day Flying Moth" and is a close relative of the sunset moth. Both moths are spectacularly coloured on both sides whereas butterflies are colourful mostly on the upward surface.
